A hut in darkness.

I hope this one enlarges on clicking. You'll need to zoom in on it, because I've posted the whole photo and the bit I want you to find is small. A sort of 'Where's Dead Wally', if your sense of humour is as twisted as mine. Depending on Blogger's adjustment of contrast and brightness (things I post always seem darker than my copy) you might want to fiddle with those too.

It's the same place as the previous photo, which is here, but taken two months earlier.

Same deal - digital camera, set to monochrome, nobody around and only a streetlamp behind me, facing the other way. Most of the image is infrared picked up by the camera.

Well, do you see anything? Don't shrug and walk away if you don't. I need the 'no' answers as much as the 'yes' because I won't have a Great Photo until I have one where the ghost is unmistakeable.

I can't decide that for myself because I'm biased, and because I see these sort of things too often. So I need impartial observers to tell me what they see.

Remember, 'No' is a valid response here. If you see nothing, say so. If you see something, tell me what you see.

Note - the diagonal streaks are branches from a bush in the foreground.

Rom, dammit, I really WANT to see a ghost but I don't!!

I see all kinds of little thises and thats but nothing that looks like a coherent whole something.

I thought it was a part of the window panes--like a divided window. It looks like a line.

You know I do, but I've already told you where and what. I don't want to prejudice any other answers, so I won't repeat it here.

btw, this copy of the first photo (under "which is here") is much better than the first one you posted. I know it's probably just a link to the very same photo, but for some reason, it's lighter / brighter, easier to make out from this link. I also think you should re-crop this second picture at least a little. Covering as much ground as this one does, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Can't you zoom in just a bit? I don't think you'll give anything away, and I don't think anyone will see what they're looking for unless you do. But that's just my opinion.

One more thing! Lookers, a magnifying glass may help. I'm blind as a bat, and I always go over every inch of these things with one, because I want to see all the ghosts. I also save these to my computer and view them again through Visualizer Photo Resize, a free download. My version is 4.0, and I love it, but there's a 6.0 now.

I think I'll declare this experiment dead.

I'll put up zoomed-in pictures later and see if anyone spots anything on those.

SW- you'll have to bite your lip a little longer, I'm afraid!

So which ghost is it that yhou want me to see? - the old man in the hat under the wood frame in the center or the bareheaded boy to the right of him holding whatever that bright speck is?

astrologymemphis.blogspot.com said...

Woot! Someone sees something. Not what I saw, but something. Anon @ 5:48, are you still there? I may see the man you're talking about, but I'm not sure. Would you describe the hat? I don't see the boy, or the something shiny. The ghosts I see are different ones, I think.

I believe this is exactly why Rom won't point them out and say where they are. There needs to be a consensus that everyone sees the same thing. If he put up the same picture with living people in it, we would undoubtedly all see the same ones. I'm not saying you aren't right, only that I saw someone different. I'm excited that someone is looking and commenting!

Anon @ 5:48, I still don't see the boy, but I'm almost certain I see the man, and he's clear as can be. I missed him the first time, and I usually go over these pictures inch by inch. I would never have noticed him without you pointing him out, so thanks! Woo hoo! However, there are still others. Please keep looking. I really want someone else to validate them!

SW - I can't really 'tell' you how to see them (and it's actually 3 figures now that I enhanced the photo lighting more) so I've asked Rom if he can post a labelled clip from the photo that I've made. How about it Rom?

Oh - in each case, I lined the arrows up with the head of the figure.

I put up 'zoomed' images but no labels yet. The sitting figure is the one three of us have seen. I think some of the others are clearer but we'll see.

Labelled versions will come, but not yet...
